Microlearning como Estrategia Pedagógica en Entornos Virtuales

El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo analizar el micro learning como estrategia pedagógica en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje, con el fin de identificar sus principales aportes, beneficios, limitaciones y condiciones de implementación en distintos niveles educativos. Para ello, se desarrolló una revisión sistemática de la literatura siguiendo la metodología PRISMA 2020, que permitió garantizar transparencia, rigor y replicabilidad del proceso. Se realizaron búsquedas en bases de datos académicas reconocidas, considerando estudios publicados entre 2014 y 2024, en español e inglés, relacionados con microlearning, educación digital y aprendizaje en línea. Tras la aplicación de criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se seleccionaron 25 estudios para el análisis cualitativo. Los resultados se organizaron en categorías analíticas que abordan el impacto del microlearning en la motivación y el compromiso del estudiante, el rendimiento académico, la personalización del aprendizaje y su integración con tecnologías digitales emergentes. Los hallazgos evidencian que el microlearning favorece aprendizajes flexibles, autónomos y significativos, especialmente en contextos virtuales, al adaptarse a las necesidades cognitivas y temporales de los estudiantes. No obstante, se identifican desafíos asociados al diseño pedagógico y a la coherencia curricular, lo que demanda una planificación didáctica estratégica para maximizar su efectividad educativa.
