Resumen

O presente artigo de revisão tem como objetivo analisar e sistematizar a produção científica recente sobre a relação entre a autoestima e o desenvolvimento da identidade juvenil, com o propósito de identificar seus principais enfoques teóricos, fatores contextuais e contribuições para o bem-estar psicossocial. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura seguindo as diretrizes da metodologia PRISMA, que incluiu a busca, seleção e análise de artigos científicos publicados entre 2010 e 2024 em bases de dados acadêmicas internacionais e regionais. A análise das informações foi realizada por meio de uma abordagem qualitativa e de análise temática, organizando os achados em categorias analíticas. Os resultados evidenciam que a autoestima e a identidade juvenil mantêm uma relação bidirecional e dinâmica, influenciando-se mutuamente nos processos de exploração, compromisso e ajuste psicossocial. Da mesma forma, destaca-se a influência de fatores contextuais como a família, os pares, o ambiente educacional e os contextos digitais na construção do self juvenil. Conclui-se que o fortalecimento da autoestima e o acompanhamento do desenvolvimento identitário constituem eixos fundamentais para promover o bem-estar, a saúde mental e a construção de projetos de vida significativos na juventude.
