Resumen

El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo analizar de manera sistemática la literatura científica sobre la gestión del talento humano en instituciones educativas, identificando las estrategias, prácticas y desafíos asociados a la contratación, desarrollo, evaluación y retención del personal docente y administrativo. Se empleó la metodología PRISMA 2020, realizando la búsqueda, selección y análisis de estudios publicados en bases de datos académicas internacionales entre 2010 y 2025. Se definieron cinco categorías de análisis: (1) reclutamiento y selección del personal educativo, (2) desarrollo profesional y capacitación docente, (3) evaluación y desempeño del talento humano, (4) liderazgo institucional y cultura organizativa, y (5) retención, motivación y bienestar laboral. Los hallazgos evidencian que los procesos integrales de selección basados en competencias y equidad, junto con programas de desarrollo profesional contextualizados y evaluaciones formativas, son fundamentales para garantizar la calidad y eficiencia educativa. Además, el liderazgo transformacional y una cultura organizativa positiva fortalecen la motivación y el compromiso del personal. La retención del talento se ve favorecida por políticas de bienestar laboral y reconocimiento profesional. En conjunto, estos factores contribuyen a mejorar el desempeño institucional y la calidad educativa, ofreciendo un marco estratégico para la gestión del talento humano en contextos educativos contemporáneos.
